Huckleberry Acres Campgrounds is a magnificent campground here; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Embarrass River - North Branch. Here at Tom Bayou you'll almost certainly meet some people from Oshkosh-Neenah; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Embarrass River. It's a good idea to visit Little Wolf River, it's in the neighborhood of Tom Bayou;       don't leave Tom Bayou without first checking out Shirttail Bend. There are swamps here too; Horseshoe Bayou is in close proximity, and Tom Bayou is not the only place close by, Cincoe Lake is a close by lake. This location is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable things to do close to Tom Bayou. If you need a place to stay Americinn Lodge & Suites is a good choice, and you can stay the night at Weiland's Landing. This lake is so wonderful. Dry                  warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn, and for you golfers we recommend close by New London Golf Club. Tom Bayou is a good place of typical precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the summertime, highs regularly are in the 70's at Tom Bayou. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
