If you need a location to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a tremendous choice, and Anvil Lake Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Chain O'lakes Resort Park is a tremendous site to camp, and a wonderful close by hotel is Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to explore along the Anvil Lake Trail System, and Tinsel Lake       is not the only site nearby, Bass Lake is a nearby lake. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Tinsel Lake. Go for a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail, and some nearby water includes Ninemile Creek. Looking for something near Tinsel Lake? Beatrice Lake is in the vicinity, and do stop at Burnt Rollways Dam while you're here. Good hiking is available along the Kimball Creek Trail; golf can be played at Lake Forest Recreation                  Area Golf Course. Tinsel Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
