Go to Tiedemans Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Tyrol Basin is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Through the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Tiedemans Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Tiedemans Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. De Forest Koa Kampground

stuff. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wisconsin River, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Pleasant View Golf Club.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Devils Head, and
of course, all our national parks are pleasant sites to go to and Ice Age National Scenic Trail is no exception. Tiedemans Pond gets a normal amount of rain; most of the rain falls during August while January is the month with the
least amount of precipitation. Madison KOA is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Madison West/Middleton is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
