This is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes. Gilbert Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ashland, Wi. Lake Three gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Lake Three is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. You       simply should love Lake Three. Camping is available at Day Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is always a fine adventure. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Gogebic Range. Why not camp at Chippewa River Campground since you're here at Lake Three, and after a long day outdoors Ashland Super 8 Motel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the North Country Trail, and some close by water                  includes Frames Creek. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Gogebic Range. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brunsweiler River; there are pleasant locations to explore along the Black Lake Trail. You're probably keen on lakes, Lake Three 1 is one of those close by, and don't miss out on a journey to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Three get into the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
