If you are in Ashland county it's always a good idea to stop by Tea Lake. Tea Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Tea Lake is Brunsweiler River; don't leave Tea Lake without first going for a hike along the Black Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Tea Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and

| | overnight lows at Tea Lake during the winter generally dip into the-10's.
But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. You can run the rapids of Marengo River close to Tea Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. Just can't get enough of Tea Lake. Good hiking is available along the North Country Trail, and if you need a place to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a nice choice. You could also visit Beaver Lake | |

while you're here at Tea Lake; it's nearby. There's so much to do here at Tea Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Day Lake Campground is a pleasant location for that.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Gogebic Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Tea Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Chippewa River Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Best Western Holiday House is a good place to get some rest. From a precipitation
point of view Tea Lake is a rather normal place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
