This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Gogebic Range. Good hiking is available along the Virgin Pine Trail; after a long day outdoors Best Western Holiday House is a perfect place to spend a night or two. A common amount of rainfall falls here at       Taylor Lake; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail; Marengo River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Take a little spree to Castle Creek if you're here at Taylor Lake; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marengo River. If you have a thing                  about the outdoors, you'll like Taylor Lake. Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a fine local campground; if you get bored of Taylor Lake you could also check out nearby Bullhead Lake. Bass Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Boulder Lodge Resort is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great choice. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Taylor Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Taylor Lake are in the-10's.
