Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flambeau River - South Fork; Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Turtle River in a kayak, and do stop by Little Pike Lake, it's a pretty lake. From a precipitation point of view Lake Tahoe is a rather normal location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Lake near Lake Tahoe; Double E Resort is a brilliant local campground. A round of golf at nearby Tahoe Lynx Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
