This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Turtle River in a kayak, and do stop by Little Pike Lake, it's a pretty lake. From a precipitation point of view Lake Tahoe is a rather normal location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. For the period of the long summer days,       highs commonly are in the 70's at Lake Tahoe, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 10's with temperatures at Lake Tahoe dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
