Lakes are glorious; Sailor Creek Flowage is a lake that's in close proximity to Sweeney Lake. Sweeney Lake in fact is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Park Falls, and some of the water close by flows, like Hesher Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork, and hey, Gotta       ski right? Whitecap Mountain is a great location to do that. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Park Falls Country Club. Through the summer here at Sweeney Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Sweeney Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. If you                  came to camp Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a nice site to do that; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Beaver Lake. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a pleasant choice. There's so much to do here at Sweeney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a nice spot for that.
