Summer brings highs in the 80's to Swamp Lake with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Swamp Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Cascade Mountain is next to Swamp Lake, and there are other spots here than Swamp Lake, for example Ogle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Swamp Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Coon's Deep Lake Campground is a great site for that; a tremendous nearby hotel is Sandman Motel. Swamp Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center is a great spot to spend a night or two, and the skiing at Christmas Mountain is delightful.
