Sure, Bass Lake is close at hand, and you're sure to run into some fine folks from Merrill here. The amount of rain that falls at Sump Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months highs here at Sump Lake get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 10's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sump Lake fall into the-10's. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Prairie River is so much fun. Just can't get enough of Sump Lake.
