Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a very wonderful spot to go to in close proximity to Sugarbush Lake, and the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. An average amount of precipitation falls at Sugarbush Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. What a site this is for outdoors people. If you need a location to       stay Americinn - Ashland, Wi is a good choice. At Sugarbush Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Sugarbush Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Camerons Creek is a delightful local stream; camping at Sugarbush Lake is tremendous fun, Big Bay State Park is a tremendous local campground.                  Nearby lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is near Sugarbush Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Waverly Campground is a great place to camp.
