After a long day outdoors Staybridge Suites Middleton/Madison- West, Wi is a great place to spend a night or two, and the fine folks of Madison like to hang out close by. Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a very splendid site to explore near Strickers Pond; De Forest Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Strickers Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges       down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Strickers Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff to do here at Strickers Pond, too glorious to be true. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn By Marriott Madison West is a wonderful choice, and great skiing awaits you at Tyrol Basin. If you came for an overnight stay Madison KOA is a brilliant place to camp, and a scenic                  lake like Esser Pond is a glorious spot to have a look at. Wisconsin River is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Strickers Pond, and Pleasant View Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby. Strickers Pond is a good spot of typical precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
