If you are traveling by, why not stop by Strickers Pond. The slopes of Tyrol Basin are so inviting nobody can resist. Dry warm beds await you at Staybridge Suites Middleton/Madison- West, Wi, and visiting Ice Age National Scenic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Smokey Hollow Campground is a delightful spot to do that; hey, Gotta ski right? Devils Head is a tremendous place to do that.

There's so much to do here at Strickers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, De Forest Koa Kampground is a pleasant site for that. At Strickers Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly
in the 20's with temperatures at Strickers Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. For you golfers we recommend nearby Pleasant View Golf Club; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wisconsin River.
