Many people like to go to Stratton Lake. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel is a fine place to get some rest, and from Stratton Lake you get a fine view of Mount Joel. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Foxfire Golf Club, and Emmons Peninsula is not far at all. An average amount of rainfall falls at Stratton Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains

After a long day outdoors Wautoma Super 8 Motel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and swamps don’t sound that glorious but Shung-we Creek next to Stratton Lake is reasonably glorious. A splendid place to camp here at Stratton Lake is Hartman Creek State Park, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Silver Lake is one of those nearby. Stratton Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Young Judea is a good local campground, and Emmons Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. At Stratton Lake during the summer months
highs are in the 80's; the overnight is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Stratton Lake during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's.
