     While you're here at Stone Lake, you could also have a look at stunning Ripley Lake; if you need a place to stay Best Western American Heritage Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Butternut Hills Golf Course & Golf Learning Center. There's so much to do here at Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leesome Pine Campgrounds is a great site for that. Stone Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation;  
   August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Casper Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Stone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dahle's Campground.
If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Paddling on Namekagon River is so much fun; Americinn Shell Lake is a great place to get some rest. Summertime highs at Stone
 
               Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Stone Lake.

This river has nearly 70 miles of river that can be paddled. It goes all the way from the Hayward landing to the Riverside landing after it joins the St Croix River.
