There's so much to do here at Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leesome Pine Campgrounds is a fine site for that; playing golf is lots of fun at Butternut Hills Golf Course & Golf Learning Center. Summer at Stone Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the       sun is down through the winter temperatures at Stone Lake dip into the-10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Namekagon River, and after a long day outdoors Americinn Shell Lake is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. The annual rain here at Stone Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. A pleasant close by hotel is Best Western American Heritage                  Inn, and if you're here, you could also explore scenic Ripley Lake. So many fun things close to Stone Lake, absolutely striking. This lake is so wonderful.
