Stenson Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Iola Pines Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Moss Lake. Summer at Stenson Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the       20's; overnight lows at Stenson Lake through the wintertime usually drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn STEVENS POINT - CONVENTION CTR, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Little Wolf River. Camp F Creek flows through this region; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STEVENS POINT is a pleasant place to get some rest.
