Wilson Creek flows through this neighborhood, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Star Lake will keep you coming back many times. Boulder Lodge Resort is a tremendous local campground, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Chippewa River - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then       we recommend Marengo River, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a brilliant site to camp. Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Star Lake, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Wilson Lake is one of those nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Star Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest                  month is February. A perfect close by hotel is Best Western Holiday House, and going for a hike along the North Country Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Star Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's with temperatures at Star Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
