Take a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and striking scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at Christie Mountain. Star Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The Hardwood Trail offers hiking at its best, and a good place to camp here at Star Lake is T.P. Resort and       Campground. A lake nearby is Three Lakes; if you need a place to stay Northern Pine Inn is a glorious choice. For the period of the summer at Star Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Star Lake. You could also check out Hill Trail Flowage if you're here at Star Lake; it's nearby, and camping is available at                  Lured In Lodge & Campground.
