Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Little Round Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. Take a hike on the Serley Camp Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Squaw Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dick-sy Manor. Squaw Bay is close by and always glorious to go to, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a wonderful choice. This lake is

There's so much to do here at Squaw Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Chippewa Campground is a great place for that, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Chippewa River - West Fork. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Squaw Lake has it all. Enjoy a round of golf at Bigfish Golf Club not far from Squaw Lake; paddling on Chippewa River is so much fun. of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Summer at Squaw Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into
the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Squaw Lake through the winter commonly plunge into the-10's. Lakes? Sure, Lovejoy Lake is around here; Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin is a nice site
to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Pigeon Lake Trail; skiing at Christie Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
