If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Eagle River is a good choice. There's so much to do here at Squash Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Otter Lake Trailer Bowl is a perfect place for that. Squash Lake is not the only place close by, Briard Lake is a close by lake, and nearby you discover the Anvil Lake Trail System which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.       Playing golf is lots of fun at Lake Forest Recreation Area Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Wild Eagle Lodge. An average amount of rainfall falls at Squash Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Going for a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure; you can stay the night at Chain O'lakes Resort Park. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time                  here at Squash Lake. There are glorious spots to look at along the Kimball Creek Trail. At Squash Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
