There's so much to do here at Square Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Apple River Campgrounds North is a great place for that, and you'll come across a stunning lake called Shiloh Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit, and Trollhaugen is a very popular ski area close at hand. A wonderful nearby       hotel is Luck Country Inn, and why not take a little visit to Fox Creek while you're here. Square Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Square Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Apple River, and a picturesque lake like White Ash Lake is a magnificent place to go to. Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a good spot                  to get some rest, and Square Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Grove Resort is a glorious local campground. All through the warm days of summer at Square Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
