Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a wonderful place to get some rest. You could also explore Grub Hoe Lake while you're here at Spruce Lake; it's nearby, and get dripping wet paddling on Pine River. At Spruce Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; through the dark hours       in the winter at Spruce Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lauterman Trail is always a delightful adventure, and hey, Gotta ski right? Brule Mountain is a pleasant place to do that. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Spruce Lake has to offer. Stay the night at Lauterman Lake Walk-In Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail. Dry warm beds await                  you at Iron Inn Motel, and do put some time aside to spend at Chipmunk Rapids if you're here at Spruce Lake. Why not take a look at nearby Chipmunk Creek if you're here at Spruce Lake; scenic scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Ski Brule. Spruce Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
