For the duration of the long summer days here at Spruce Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Spruce Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Gogebic Range. Chippewa Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. If you come at the right time       of year, Marengo River offers some great whitewater, and Ashland Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spruce Lake; Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is a wonderful local trail; if you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Coffee Lake. Spruce Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; through September this area sees the most rain, and February on the other                  hand is the driest. So many enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range, just tremendous. Good hiking is available along the North Country Trail, and Chippewa River Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. There's brilliant hiking along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and hey, Blaser Creek is a great local stream. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Any time is a great time at Spruce Lake if you love the outdoors.
