You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Richardson Lake Campground; Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Spring Lake; August is when you get the most rain here,       and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Spring Lake, for example Bradley Lake; there's perfect hiking along the Eds Lake Trail System. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Wolf River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Dendro Eco Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Spring Lake. Stay the night at Joy Harbor Campground; hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Spring Lake; Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a splendid local trail.
