If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wisconsin you can check out Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Norway Mountain; near Spring Lake you find a golf course called Eagle Mountain Golf Course. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Spring Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. You can run the rapids of Pine River next to Spring Lake, and a great spot to camp here at Spring Lake is Rivers Bend Campground.

| | An average amount of rain falls at Spring Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Brule River for all you adrenaline kick people, and not far from Spring Lake you'll discover Montgomery Lake which is a lovely lake. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a nice place to spend a night or two, and getting to Pine River from Spring Lake is uncomplicated.

Summertime at Spring Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Spring
Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Spring Lake is not far at all from Iron Mountain; if you need a location to stay Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at
Iron Mountain Campgrounds while you're here at Spring Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Spread Eagle Chain of Lakes.
