Spot Lake is a lake worth visiting. Be careful coming to Spot Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. While you're here at Spot Lake you can take a hike along the North Country Trail, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Chippewa River - West Fork. Take a hike on the Black Lake Trail; close by you'll locate a wooded vicinity called Chequamegon National Forest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Spot Lake has to offer, you can camp

| | at Boulder Lodge Resort; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marengo River.
Spot Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, needless to say you could also visit Bentley Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. | |

Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. Stay the night at Chippewa River Campground, and Spot Lake is not the only site close by, Lake Five is a close by lake.
For the duration of the long summer days at Spot Lake highs are
regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Spot Lake. And if that's not enough there's
a lot more entertaining things to do in the Gogebic Range. A pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Holiday House. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range.
