Lakes are tremendous; 12 Reservoir is a lake that's near Sportsman Lake. Brick Creek is a splendid local stream, and Kathryn Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Black River is so much fun, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Ice Age Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Sportsman Lake is about average; September is       the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Owen City Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and Sleep Inn Abbotsford is a great place to get some rest. Sportsman Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Country View RV Park, LLC is a glorious location to camp nearby, and not far from Sportsman Lake you'll stumble on Owen Pond 5 which is a picturesque lake.                  The warmest time of the year at Sportsman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
