Spirit Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Trollhaugen is a great local ski area. Why not camp at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds while you're here at Spirit Lake; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Frederic Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Best Western Northwoods Lodge; if you get bored of Spirit Lake you could also stop at nearby Silver Lake. The skiing at Wild Mountain is good;

| | if you need a place to stay Luck Country Inn is a nice choice. Spirit Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on St. Croix River, and Spirit Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Spirit Lake. Looking for a perfect spree? Saint Croix
National Scenic River is rather near Spirit Lake, and a lake close by is Muskrat Lake. James N Mcnally Campground is a fine local campground, and going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
