This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Spider Lake is Day Lake Campground; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Spider Lake called the North Country Trail, and Best Western Holiday House is a good place to get some rest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic       Range. Camping is available at Chippewa River Campground, and a brilliant close by hotel is Ashland Super 8 Motel. What a location this is for outdoors people. Some of the water close by flows, like Hell Hole Creek, and Moquah Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. An average amount of precipitation falls at Spider Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Spider Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Spider Lake is Brunsweiler River, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Black Lake Trail. Summer at Spider Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's.
