This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is always a       good adventure; a tremendous close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Park Falls. The warmest time of the year at Snowshoe Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Snowshoe Lake. Butternut Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and paddling on Bad River is so much fun. Be careful coming to the Gogebic                  Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Nearby lakes?
