Chippewa River - East Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot in the vicinity of Snoose Lake; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. Snoose Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do near Snoose Lake. Burd Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; Snoose Lake is good enough

While you're here at Snoose Lake, you could also pop by pretty Black Lake, and hiking along the Black Lake Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Black Lake Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
