A great location to camp here at Snake Lake is Foxfire Campground, and Comfort Inn Minocqua is a good place to get some rest. At Snake Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Snake Lake dip       into the-10's. Snake Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
