Beautiful Smith Lake has much to offer visitors. The amount of precipitation that falls at Smith Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. If you need a location to stay Americinn West Bend is a nice choice, and a golf course close by is Hon-E-Kor Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. | | lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Little Switzerland, and the trees of Kettle Moraine State Forest are a pleasant source of shade on hot summer days. The skiing at Sunburst is great, and a brilliant nearby hotel is West Bend Super 8 Motel. So many cool things to do at Smith Lake, so little time. Some nearby water includes East Branch Milwaukee River; if you've had enough of Smith Lake, 204 Reservoir is nearby.

Kettle Moraine is a good place to do that, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Cedar Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Menomonee River offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake
that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground is a fine site for that. At Smith Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Smith Lake are in the 0's.
