This lake is so wonderful. Smith Lake is right by the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and Smith Creek is in the vicinity of Smith Lake and is always a bliss to pop by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Smith Lake with night lows in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Smith Lake. After a long day outdoors Cobblestone Inn and Suites is a splendid       site to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Mohican North Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine site to camp. From a precipitation point of view Smith Lake is a quite normal place; September is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. Just can't get enough of Smith Lake. Pine Grove Campground, LLC is a great campground nearby, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Upper Red Lake.                  Get yourself into a kayak and hit Embarrass River - North Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites.
