This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of St. Croix River near Smith Lake. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Trollhaugen, and the sights at Saint Croix National Scenic River will blow your mind. So much cool stuff to do here at Smith Lake, too pleasant to be true. A golf course in close proximity to Smith Lake is Amery Golf Club, and if you came for an overnight stay       Port Valhalla Campground is a good place to camp. A lake nearby is North Fish Lake; if you need a spot to stay Americinn - New Richmond, Wi is a good choice. All through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Smith Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Smith Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Smith Lake is not the only location close by,                  South Fish Lake is a close by lake; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Apple River. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Smith Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Cast-a-way Trailer Park, and Wild Mountain has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful.
