Smith Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; during September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Marinette here. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Kenkae Travel Park and Store is a good place for that. Do stop by Luedevitz Lake close to Smith Lake, it's a lovely lake, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Pemebonwon - South Branch, and skiing at Norway Mountain is one of those things you just should do. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Smith Lake. An afternoon playing golf at                  Green Acres Golf Course is always a bliss; after a long day outdoors Americinn - Norway, Mi is a good spot to spend a night or two.
