You can run the rapids of Upper Tamarack River close to Smith Lake, and Americinn Shell Lake is a wonderful site to get some rest.       Smith Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western American Heritage Inn, naturally you could also explore Lost Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Smith Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's.
