Summertime at Small Bass Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Small Bass Lakes dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Near Small Bass Lakes you find the Dendro Eco Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and a lake close by is Pickerel Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Small Bass Lakes called the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail; after a long day outdoors Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. The yearly rain here at Small Bass Lakes is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. What a place this is for outdoors people. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf                  course like McCauslin Brook Golf & Country Club; Small Bass Lakes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Williams' Campground is a tremendous local campground. Camping at Boot Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and if you get bored of Small Bass Lakes you could also visit nearby Quill Lake.
