Skunk Lake is a good location of typical rain; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Foxfire Golf Club; Best       Western Grand Seasons Hotel is a splendid spot to get some rest. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Skunk Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Skunk Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hartman Creek State Park, and people from Stevens Point love to come here. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Mud Lake near Skunk Lake, and you can run the rapids of Little Wolf River. Throughout the long summer days at Skunk Lake                  temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Skunk Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
