For the period of the warm months here at Skunk Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Skunk Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Camping at Hartman Creek State Park is always a wonderful experience, and Little Wolf River is a great whitewater                  spot nearby. Skunk Lake is a good place of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
