Lake Sixteen is a nice lake to visit. A beautiful lake like Beechwood Lake close to Lake Sixteen is a fine location to stop by, and Lake Sixteen is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Hager's Hilly Haven Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Bonne Belle Motel, and Cedar Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. All through the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lake Sixteen with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Sixteen dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Very beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Little Switzerland; if you came to camp Hoeft's Resort and Campground is a tremendous spot to
do that. From a rain point of view Lake Sixteen is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
