Simms Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Simms Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tyman's Motel and Campground is a perfect site for that, and a       round of golf at nearby Hidden North Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Swansons Motel and Campground, and there's whitewater on Totogatic River for all you adrenaline junkies. For the period of the summer months at Simms Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and night lows during the wintertime                  for Simms Lake tend to be in the-10's.
