Silver Springs Campsites is a tremendous local campground, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Sun Prairie is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Grassy Lake. For the duration of the summer highs here at Silver Springs Pond get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration       of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Silver Springs Pond sink into the 0's. Silver Springs Pond is near Schiller Dam which is a beautiful spot absolutely worth checking out; Super 8 Motel - Columbus is a brilliant place to get some rest. Silver Springs Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months                  is February. This lake is so wonderful.
