This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Foxfire Golf Club is always a joy, and get wet paddling on Little Wolf River. The yearly rain here at Silver Lake is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the       driest. Why not camp at Deerhaven Campground if you're here at Silver Lake. You're possibly keen on lakes, Mud Lake is one of those close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Young Judea is a great place to camp. At Silver Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Silver Lake.                  I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Silver Lake. If you're here at Silver Lake, you could check out Emmons Creek, and you don't should go far to enjoy Greenwood Forest.
