Shoto Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is February. If you're here at Shoto Lake and you like golf, you can stop by Meadow Links Golf Course, also Neshoto Dam is worth checking out if you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping is available at Seagull Marina, and Neshota River has a magnificent       whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Devil's River; after a long day outdoors Best Western Lakefront Hotel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Shoto Lake is not far at all from Manitowoc, and Fox Hills Resort is a magnificent site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Shoto Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days                  of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Shoto Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Gotta ski!
