Our mission is to provide an excellent Christian camping experience in which campers may come to know Christ as Savior and grow in Him through God’s Word and a godly staff. We strive to provide a loving Camp that is Christ-centered, Action-packed with Activities, filled with Meaningful Moments in a Pleasant and Peaceful setting.
Operations Camp Fairwood is a year-round ministry with eight weeks of summer camp for youth and families and about 32 retreats throughout the year. There are two full-time employees of the Camp, the director and maintenance manager. During the summer we hire about 30 staff to run our program.
Facilities There are 27 buildings on the camp grounds. Nine cabins are used year-round and sleep about 10 people each. Nine additional cabins are available for summer use and sleep 10 people each. Three terrain parks, with a beginner, intermediate, and expert park offer freestyle skiers and snowboarders everything they would expect in a top notch park. Nordic Mountain's goal is not only to have some of the best freestyle terrain in Wisconsin, but in all of the Midwest. Two glade runs offer expert skiers and boarders challenging tree skiing on some of the steepest terrain on the hill.
