Dry warm beds await you at Kiryat Hotel; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wolf River. High temperatures at Shawano Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Shawano Lake are in the-10's. An average       amount of rainfall falls at Shawano Lake; the month with most of the rain is September; January is when it's the driest. A wonderful place to camp here at Shawano Lake is Shawano County Park, and you can go for a hike on the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Shawano Lake Golf Club is a fine golf course nearby, and why not take a little trip to Loon Creek since you're here. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do right next door                  to Shawano Lake.
