Shamrock Lake 4 gets a normal amount of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Shamrock Lake 4 is a perfect location to camp, Big Falls Campground is a perfect location. For the duration of the summertime here at Shamrock Lake 4, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly       in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Shamrock Lake 4 are in the-10's. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Ice Age Trail. Flambeau River - North Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can take a little tour to Shamrock Lake WP156 Dam if you're                  here at Shamrock Lake 4. Stay the night at Soo Lake Resort, obviously you could also visit Hawkins Millpond since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
