There's just no way someone can get bored here at Shamrock Lake 4. Shamrock Lake WP156 Dam is worth a visit since you're here; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Ice Age Trail. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Shamrock Lake 4 reach the 70's. For the duration       of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Shamrock Lake 4 are in the-10's. Flambeau River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot close to Shamrock Lake 4, and Shamrock Lake 4 is not the only location nearby, Hawkins Millpond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flambeau River                  - North Fork, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a good choice.
