The Gogebic Range is great! Why not take a refreshing hike along the North Country Trail, and you're probably into lakes, Lake Three 1 is one of those close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There's good hiking along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Seitz Lake has to offer, you can camp at Day Lake Campground. High temperatures at Seitz Lake through       the summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Seitz Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Ashland is a good choice, and as expected, this is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes, Gilbert Lake is a lake nearby. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. You just can't imagine the amount                  of outdoors exciting things the Gogebic Range has to offer. Paddling on Brunsweiler River is so much fun; hiking is a popular thing to do around Seitz Lake; Black Lake Trail is a fine local trail. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Seitz Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chippewa River Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and Spring Brook is right next door to Seitz Lake and is always a delight to stop at. Best Western Lake Superior Lodge is a great place to get some rest, and visiting Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
