Looking for something in the vicinity of Second Lake? First Lake is in the vicinity, and camping at Perrot State Park is always a nice experience. A great place to camp here at Second Lake is Pow wow Campgrounds, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Bodega Point is rather in the neighborhood of Second       Lake, and Mount La Crosse is a fine local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer at Second Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Second Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Dresbach Motel, and if you want to stop at some out of the ordinary stuff,                  stop at Kings Bluff. After a long day outdoors Truckers Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and a great place is Miller Valley. And that's not all you can do here at Second Lake.
