A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Suites Stevens Point, needless to say you could also stop by First Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. You'll meet a lot of folks from Stevens Point here; Second Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Dubay Shores Campground is a nice local campground. The warmest time of the year at Second Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's.       When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Second Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Second Lake has to offer. A golf course near Second Lake is Wisconsin River Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Second Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River's Edge Campground is a                  brilliant site for that; get covered with water paddling on Wisconsin River. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Granite Peak is in close proximity to Second Lake; if you need a place to stay Country Springs Hotel is a magnificent choice.
